I’m no longer rocking a pixie cut. 👩‍🦱
I have more boundaries than I’ve ever had in my entire existence ❌
A decade plus later, I’m finally figuring out this adulting stuff😂

Still, there are some parts of me that are constant and will probably never change. For instance,

My inability yet desire to post the multitude of concepts and photoshoots that live rent free in my head🤷🏾‍♀️

God will send for you

Actual behind the scenes shots of God sending someone with a prophetic word of confirmation and prayer on my photoshoot. I was in the midst of planning a come back after a long social media break. Silently, I was battling with many feelings including, “Did I miss God?”

The closer I got to my return, God made it crystal clear. He gave me numerous dreams, prophetic word after prophetic word, and a knowing in my spirit.

At the right time, God sent for me.

A common experience for many believers is a fear of missing God. There is a panic or worry that if “XYZ” is not performed perfectly then somehow they will miss out on what God desires to do in their lives.

It grieves me to see children of God afraid to mess up, take a step back, or rest because there is this deep sense of, “what if I miss Him?”

This could not be further from the nature of God. God is not looking for mishaps to disqualify you. Actually, when God called you, He knew you would not hit every single mark perfectly. He knows you intimately.

God is always after faithfulness and not perfection.

As long as you are a yielded vessel and consistently seeking His will, He will ensure you do not miss what He wants to do in your life. As you search for answers and directions, God will be sure to answer and confirm in His timing.

You can pray, rest, and seek in peace knowing when the time is right, God will send for you!

Flashback to my birthday dinner.

My birthday morning, I felt the Lord telling me this year of my life would look nothing like the last year of my life. Babyyy after the last year I had, those words were music to my ears.

4 months later, I can attest God was speaking the whole truth. I’m experiencing breakthrough and acceleration in multiple areas simultaneously. It doesn’t mean life is perfect…far from it. I still got problems like everyone else 😂 But it means there is tangible evidence of God working behind the scenes. I find peace in that and I’m filled with hope.

No matter how dark it gets. Don’t ever stop hoping. Keep believing that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Cry if you have to, but cry with hope.
Scream if you have to, but scream with hope.
Process if you have to, but process with hope.

Help and breakthrough is coming!

Use what is in your hands 👐🏾

Many of us hold ourselves back because we underestimate what’s in our hands and Who is in our corner.

It’s common to believe that in order to defeat big giants, you must be a giant or possess giant weaponry. When instead all you need is what you already have and God. That’s it!

Right where you are, use your gift, sharpen your skill, and depend on God fully. Eventually every giant in your life, will begin to tumble.

No more underestimating, It’s time to slay some giants!

The Nudge

Last year, I felt a nudge to start adding new wardrobe to my closet for speaking engagements.

The contradiction was last year, I was in a cave season. I completely came off the media scene to focus on other areas. Mentally, i was detached from any form of public speaking or teaching.

Still every time i bought something to wear in these streets 😅, I purchased some form of smart casual attire. Despite my reservations I followed the nudge.

Little by little, God started to show me it was time to return one baby step at a time. Here I am, back to speaking and being in front of the camera again.

God uses nudges to prepare us. The nudge is often very subtle. If we are not careful and sensitive, we tend to brush it off. The nudge may be a thought to upgrade your wardrobe, a silent whisper to adjust your attitude, or a feeling to enroll in a course.

Whatever that nudge looks like for you, know that we serve a God that prepares. He will never bring you into a new place without every attempt to prepare you.
